What is 2112.run?
2112.run is a Transmedia Roleplaying Gaming NFT project set in an emerging Cyberpunk Universe shaped by the community.
The «transmedia» part (from “transmedia storytelling”) is there to signal that the main focus of the project are the narratives that will bring this deep universe to life, crafted with special attention to detail and in whatever form they might take. This takes place is Discord, on Youtube and within the lore of the game.
The «roleplaying» part is pointing to the immersive nature of our universe, which aims to be a place where people can escape their daily reality and connect to a fantastic fictional world and a community that share the same passion for the Cyberpunk genre. This also includes the possibility of the community itself being able to shape the narratives that we offer, and also producing their own.
The «gaming» part is represented by the Blockchain-Powered Game we are developing on the Polygon L2 Solution, which will come out some day in March.
