The ninth season of "Ninja Warrior Germany" has just begun, we're in show 2 of the preliminary rounds, and the athletes are already pushing themselves beyond their limits. Leading the charge is Simon Brunner, who achieves the seemingly impossible: He climbs the MEGA WALL!!! 🙌🙌🙌

Germany's toughest show is back! And season 9 of "Ninja Warrior Germany" kicks off with a world premiere: In six new preliminary rounds, two semi-finals, two finals, and a celebrity special, the athletes will once again have to overcome numerous new and familiar obstacles beloved by viewers. As has been the case since season 1, the fantastic trio of Frank Buschmann, Jan Köppen, and Laura Wontorra will also be there.
Around 40 athletes compete in each preliminary round, tackling up to eight obstacles. The top four then face the Endless Sky Ladder. Thirteen ninjas (plus the two best women, if applicable) advance to the semi-finals. New this season: The Split Decision. During the course, the ninjas can choose between a hanging obstacle and a balance obstacle. Also new this season: In addition to Wall 2.0, the Mega Wall 2.0 will be featured for the first time, with a shorter approach and a curved design, making it significantly more challenging. The "Curved Mega Wall" is a new addition to any country. Conquer it and you'll win a whopping €5,000.
The best athletes will receive cash prizes on their way to the finals: €5,000 plus a semi-final ticket is up for grabs on the Mega Wall per show. The Sky Ladder offers €5,000 plus a final ticket for the winner, and the other positions are worth €2,500, €1,000, and €500 respectively. A new obstacle in the semi-final shows is the Horseshoe Jump.
