This song means a lot to me, because I wrote the melody when my fiancée gave me my first guitar after a long break from making music. It reflects the feelings I’ve experienced over the years and ends with the energy of how strong our bond is today.

Besides that, I’m a huge fan of the band Napoleon, and I’ve always known that I wanted to write a song in this style. Bands like Counterparts, Like Moths to Flames, and Currents, as well as artists like Clayton King, Plini, and others, had a huge influence on bringing this song to life.
