COLLISION Between Babaranjang Coal Freight Trains
A long-distance coal train (Babaranjang) with CC 205 1404/2104 train number, consisting of 60 cars, collided with the rear car of a Babaranjang train, CC 205 1344/2134, which was stopped at the Penanggiran Railway Station crossing in Panjang Jaya Village, Gunung Megang District, Muara Enim Regency, on Saturday, December 11, 2021, at 5:15 a.m.
As a result, two trains of the Babaranjang train, CC 205 1404/2104 train number, and eight unloaded cars also overturned. Fortunately, there were no fatalities in the incident.
