Area by a shrine made me think it was quicksand
As I walked away from the Lightroot I saw the ground I was walking towards look like it was moving and thought quicksand? But I’m under the castle why would there be quicksand.
Upon moving away and stopping I realized it was just the game adjusting something to run faster… probably.
