Opening events at the new Dental School location
Bristol Dental School officially opened on Avon Street in September 2023. Following a £36 million investment, our patients, students, staff, practitioners, researchers and the City of Bristol can access cutting-edge technology in a purpose-built state-of-the-art clinical facility.
Watch our celebratory opening events with MP Thangam Debbonaire cutting the ribbon, a welcome from Vice-Chancellor Evelyn Welch and the unveiling of public art. We were proud to partner with Aardman Animations, the renowned Bristol-based creative studio, who created five toothy characters for all to enjoy across permanent 3D character sculptures and two murals.
