Active Voice and Passive Voice Rules For Present Indefinite Tense In Urdu/Hindi
In this video, I will tell you how to learn Active Voice and Passive Voice Rules For Present Indefinite Tense In English Grammar With Examples step by step (Active Passive sikhne ka aasan tarika). It is an online free course for beginners of English speaking. It is the basic course in Urdu to improve self-writing for all academic and competitive exams.
In order to make the Passive Voice of Present Indefinite Tense, one should follow the following procedures depending on the type of Sentence.
Assertive Sentences:
The Passive Voice of Assertive Sentences of Present Indefinite Tense can be made by applying the following steps:
Convert the object of Active Voice Sentence into the subject of Passive Voice Sentence.
Use helping verbs “is/are/am” according to the subject of the Passive Voice sentence.
Use 3rd form of the verb.
Then add the word “by”, in order to show the doer.
Then convert the subject of the Active Voice Sentence into the object of the Passive Voice Sentence.
At the end put the remaining words if there are any in Active Voice Sentence of the Assertive Sentence.
Present Indefinite Tense(Passive Voice) Assertive Sentence
Examples of Assertive Sentence:
I break a cup.
A cup is broken by me.
They eat apples.
Apples are eaten by them.
My mother beats me.
I am beaten by my mother.
Negative Sentences:
The Active Voice of the Negative Sentences of Present Indefinite Tense can be converted into Passive Voice by applying the following method:
Convert the object of Active Voice Sentence into the subject of the Passive Voice Sentence.
Use helping verbs “is/are/am” according to the subject of the Passive Voice sentence.
Then add “not”, in order to show the negativity of the sentence.
Use 3rd form of the verb.
Then add the word “by”, in order to show the doer.
Then convert the subject of the Active Voice Sentence into the object of the Passive Voice Sentence.
In the end, but the remaining words if there are any in the Active Voice of the Negative Sentence.
Present Indefinite Tense (Passive Voice) – Negative Sentence
Examples of Negative Sentences:
She does not tell a lie.
A lie is not told by her.
She does not wash my clothes.
My clothes are not washed by her.
Interrogative Sentences:
The Passive Voice of the Interrogative Sentences of Present Indefinite Tense can be made by applying the following procedure:
Use helping verbs is/are/am according to the subject of the Passive Voice sentence.
Convert the object of the Active Voice Sentence into the subject of the Passive Voice Sentence.
Use 3rd form of the verb.
Then add the word “by”, in order to show the doer.
