Only for Archer to kill the couple, Archer claims that he planned all this so he can be free to kill Shirou, with him starting a fight with Saber who still wants to protect Shirou even though the pact is broken. This prompts Rin to form a contract with Saber to protect Shirou from Archer, who ends capturing Rin.
