Narrated Video of my process of how I created the control handles for Phoenix the hound. Her eyelids I used drivers. But the global axis on the control handles get a little wee wacky as soon as I parent them in the rig...they work but just not perfectly. Her hips are simple rotation and location constraints. Her neck is just a rotation constraint. I had a challenging time with the IK on her legs when following the basic tutorials online. It was making it impossible to pose her. I think my alterations worked out decently. Her rig seems robust enough. The shaking of her rig I discovered was because the IK on her tail was parented to a tail joint. Unparent and parent to root base and that solved that issue. I want to try and rotoscope and hopefully will have some rewarding fun videos of Phoenix animated with some dynamic action shots!

Btw if you are new to my channel help yourself to my music playlist while working or watching my speed throughs. Video speed can be adjusted at the bottom right hand corner under the little gear icon in you youtube screen. Subtitles are available in this video.

Beginners Easiest way to follow along is turn speed to half way slower or less and turn on subs turn down the narration as it will be distorted. music can be in a separate browser in the background.
