How to Spruce-Up Amazing Grace
Here is an unedited video that I made for my student. She is playing amazing Grace at a funeral, and asked me for ideas on how to enhance her single line melody (meaning not harmonized) that she already knows. She also needs it to not be too complicated, as the funeral is but a few days away.
In this video, I provide playing examples of a few different ways to enhance the amazing grace melody. And then I also go into detail talking about the techniques and tools that I use to add flourish to a single line Melody.
These techniques can be applied to any Melody, so be sure to revisit this and rewatch to apply these ideas to your own projects.
