So, nearly 5 months after my birthday, here is my 18th birthday vlog!
After some mental battles with fining motivation with editing, I've finally edited this video after so long. In this video, I take you all with me to my 18th birthday. From a lovely trip to Weatherspoons with my family for breakfast, to a nice pub lunch with my girlfriend Hannah to the climax of the countdown of me not only drinking but getting absolutely pissed.
It was a night to remember, one that is going to last forever. From the good moments and to the bad ones. It was great to have everyone there. From mates that date the way back to primary school to the good mates I made in high school and the new mates I've made in college. It was like Smash Bros Ultimate with how everyone was here.
The video has highlights and features throughout the day, a speech of one off my closest mates Leanna, the live performance of the amazing ‘The Daniel Song’ by Lay and James, few slideshows and time-lapses as well the aftermath of me drinking for the first time and being somewhat emotional.
At the party, I didn't vlog as I was too busy having fun and making sure the party wasn't shutdown early. (We had eight warnings from 8:20PM till 10:15PM when it got shutdown.)

The message to Owen right at the end of the video is justified. Before anyone has a go at me, defend Owen or simply throw hate at me, let me explain.
The message is petty however for those who don't know, Owen said to my mum and dad, to their faces that they are, and I quote "I feel sorry for Daniel for having a waste of space of parents like yous. I see why he turned out the way he did." End Quote. But that isn't all. After my dad then ask him to leave, he for no reason threated my dad that he "doesn't want to hurt him", whilst squaring up to my dad.
For those who are saying this is out of context, Owen was told to calm down on whatever substance he was taking and if he didn't, he would have to leave. He didn't and so the owners of the venue told us he needed to leave, or the party would be shut down and we'd all have to go. He refused to leave for over an hour which nearly caused the owners to call the police to remove him. Luckily, he left when he was told his parents were on the way to pick him up.
If his behaviour alone to my parents isn't enough, I have heard handful of people whose identity I shall remain hidden who have told me Owen had made overall offensive and sexual comments (to people in relationships and weren't asking for anything off him), suggestions and overall made people feel extremely uncomfortable and at times made people feel endangered.
To add insult to injury. The icing onto of the cake. Rubbing salt into the wound. He has NEVER apodised for his actions to me, to my family or anyone he had affected. He acts like he hasn't done anything to me or anyone at all, acting as if we are still good mates. Which we are not. I've had a tolerance for Owen over the years. From his reckless antics when we would hang out on Farnworth Park, terrorizing bystanders who did nothing wrong but just glanced at Owen's general direction, to my parties to where he would break things on accident but never owned up to any damages, passing them off onto to other people and then laughing it off to me when confronted, again never apologising to me or my family, and not covering any damage fees. Not a penny.
Now Owen, if you are reading this, I just wanted to say we was good mates, and you threw it all the way the second you uttered those words to my parents. No apology would have fixed our friendship, especially after 5 months of ignoring the events. I had been by your side from back in high school. Playing football at break and lunch; forming The Lads with Oliver and Asher in year 9, supporting you after you got hit in the head with a baseball bat and visiting you when you were isolated stuck at home, being there when you went through breakups to even when you'd get fucked after a sesh, making sure you got home all right. We had a good friendship lad, and you through it away because at the end of the day, you are an unstable, selfish, violent, entitled dick who can't take no for an answer and you have no care for the people around you, damaging those who are close to you and yourself. I hope one day Owen you wake up, get clean and get your shit sorted out. I do. But you are a cunt and honestly, fuck you. I'm happy to finally have cut you out of my life and remove the toxic leach of what you are.
So, I hope you have a good life, and you don't fuck it up more to whatever degree it already is fucked up and a good one you cunt.
