DaVinci Resolve 18.6 doesn't launch on Fedora 39 after Upgrade
This short video will help you resolve the issue of DaVinci Resolve 18.6.x not launching on Fedora 39. This can happen after an upgrade like in my case or even on a fresh install due to the files packaged with the DaVinci Resolve installer.
If you try to run resolve from the command line, it shows the following error:
symbol lookup error: /lib64/libgdk_pixbuf-2.0.so.0: undefined symbol: g_task_set_static_name
Fortunately, someone on Reddit posted the solution so I'll step you through the process here.
This process was completed on my Physical workstation. Screen capture was done with the USB Capture device linked below in the My Gear section.
