The Only Tower on the Lake Shore of Chicago
Located at 505 North Lake Shore Drive in Chicago, Lake Point Tower is the only skyscraper east of Lake Shore Drive. Why? Well because 5 years after its opening, the City of Chicago passed the Lake Front Protection Ordinance which forbade other buildings from being constructed along its lakeshore.
