How to Get ERC Code Step by Step (Android & iOS App)
In this video, we show you how to get the ERC code step by step using our Android and iOS apps.
To view the ERC serial/ID on your car audio or navigation unit, follow these steps:
1. Turn on the unit.
2. Press and hold the main/front button.
3. While holding the button, switch the parking light on and off a few times.
4. A service screen will appear showing a 16-digit serial number or ID.
Enter that serial number into our app to calculate the corresponding ERC code:

After you enter the ERC code into your unit, the normal functions of your audio/navigation system (radio, FM, AUX, CD, MP3, DVD, SD, Bluetooth, rear-view camera etc.) will work again after a battery change or reset.
This applies to many factory car audio/navigation units used in Japanese import vehicles and other markets.

When the car battery has been disconnected or replaced
When the audio/navigation unit asks for an ERC code
When standard multimedia functions stop working until an ERC code is entered
