If you're using React you probably don't need redux
React and Redux is often a sensible default. You might already know that Redux is used for managing the state of your application with or without React. Since React v16.8, with the support of hooks (and providers) one can more or less achieve the same behaviour out of the box. In our team we tried to not add yet another JS library, and to stick to what React gives. Hence we decided for a combination of context providers and a custom reducer in order to maintain and share a global state in our app. In this talk we will show you how we achieved all this
