As per the Asia Pacific Wealth Report, the wealth of high net worth individuals in the Asia Pacific region is likely to surpass $42 trillion by 2025. Despite this staggering CAGR, wealth management firms are facing big challenges in satisfying their customers. Their customer satisfaction scores directly reflect that some of the most important factors that affect the HNI satisfaction level are low due to value being delivered at high prices and lack of customer personalization.
Wealth firms are getting more innovative in woo their customers by building personal relationships, both technologically as well as culturally. It's very difficult for wealth firms to understand their customer data without a robust customer-centric platform. This requires a customer-centric approach as well. There is also a need to better monetize the intelligence gathered from the customer data. One way to do this is to implement a very robust AI platform that will eventually be able to garner better customer intelligence, leverage this data to provide better services, and more importantly, create and enrich the existing customer data that these firms have.
AI can also help wealthy firms by providing better customer segmentation approaches during the onboarding stage itself. This would enhance customer experience, help in targeted marketing, and enable hyper-personalized solutions to customers by way of providing the next best actions or next best services proactively.
