Cacti and Succulent Plants in Near-Infrared (NIR)

Here is a short video I made with my collection of house plants (cacti and other desert succulents) using my Near Infrared Camera with 2 of my custom filters (NGB and BGN filters) which I have been using to image vegetation in the Near-Infrared to make Normalised Differential Vegetation Indices (NDVI) used in mapping and precision ecology and agriculture.
Along with its uses for mapping and ecosystem monitoring, this technique makes for very visually interesting photography
