La Palma Volcanic Fields and New Lava Beach in Tazacorte - Drone Flying in Canary Islands
Up until relatively recently there was a small beach in Tazacorte on La Palma Island called "Playa Nueva". It exists in a new incarnation today as the Cumbre Vieja Volcanic Eruption in September 2021 on La Palma created a lava flow that literally forged a new part of the coastline which will, over time, form a new beach! Here is some UAV footage of the newly created lava fields shot by myself and my friend in July 2023. Enjoy!
