Metroidvania Forge • Chapter 04 Episode 01 • Godot 4 Tutorial Series
In this episode we will add a foundational feature to our game before we implement abilities - A VFX system that follows a factory pattern. We will start with a set of "dust" effects, explore how to set up a factory, and implement the new effects in our jump and land states so that our player makes dust when he jumps and lands back on the ground.
As a bonus, we will implement a camera shake effect.
