StarTech HSB100SATBK hard drive mobile rack WD Red 8TB insertion issue
Compatibility issue with the StarTech HSB100SATBK 5.25in Trayless Hot Swap Mobile Rack for 3.5in Hard Drive (Rev. B). As shown in the video, the arm mechanism at the rear of the rack just happens to line up with an opening at the rear of the WD Red 8TB, in which the arm gets stuck, preventing full insertion of the drive. UPDATE: I've since encountered the same problem with the HGST Ultrastar He10 10TB, which shares the same housing as the Red 8TB. The HGST He8 and WD Red 10TB are probably affected as well, judging by pictures.
