This webinar looked at the impacts of drought on the economies of Harmon, Jackson, and Tillman counties over the last ten years. In addition, it identified the mitigating effect that disaster relief insurance provides to the affected communities. It covered how much loss in output and jobs was caused by drought, how much output and employment was recovered due to disaster relief payments, and which sectors of the economy were the most affected.
