As most of you may know before Sailor Moon came to the United States, Toon Makers aka Saban tried to create an American version of Bishoujo Senshi Seramun - Sailor Moon... resulting in this:

Don't get me wrong I loved the diversity and idea of half real life and half animated BUT in the 90s COMPLETE DISASTER!
Discovered by Kotaku - an unaired Sailor Moon - Magical Girl reference of a show called Team Angel. Team Angel was a "revamped" version of Sailor Moon. Since in the US Sailor Moon was "canceled" (DiC) and I assumed not picked up by Cloverway just yet Frank Ward and his buddy Rocky Solotoff tried to sell the Team Angel "pilot".
