In this episode of Nutrition with Lorelei, I'll show you 3 different recipes for food processor ice cream made from frozen fruit. The Blind Taster makes an appearance to cast his judgment upon the vegan ice cream varieties. Will he prefer ice cream from frozen bananas, ice cream from frozen grapes, or ice cream from frozen mango?

Knowing how to make ice cream from frozen fruit (sometimes called "nice cream") means that your next healthy snack can taste like a delicious treat! Add ingredients to a food processor and blend until mixture gets smooth and creamy. Each simple recipe makes 2 servings.
FROZEN BANANA ICE CREAM RECIPE:
2 frozen bananas, cut into chunks
2 Tb cocoa powder (can omit or substitute something else if you don't want chocolate)
MANGO RED PEPPER ICE CREAM RECIPE:
1 1/2 cup frozen mango chunks
1/4 red bell pepper
FROZEN GRAPE ICE CREAM RECIPE:
1 1/2 cups frozen grapes
1/2 medium avocado
1/4 cup shelled edamame, thawed
Blend avocado with the edamame before adding frozen grapes
