Chiang Mai | Loy Krathong & Yee Peng Festival
My Disney dreams came true. My first time celebrating Yee Peng festival in Chiang Mai, Thailand and it was so beautiful!
On the 8th Nov 2022, we took an overnight train from Bangkok to Chiang Mai. Enjoyed the scenery when we woke up the next day arriving in Chiang Mai. The weather was a little chilly but nevertheless still hot in the afternoon.
We met up at the MAYA Shopping Mall around 3.30pm for the red truck transport. Transport is included in the package. After a 45 minutes drive, we arrived at the outskirts of Chiang Mai.
Collected our tags and door gifts. Welcomed by rows of delicious finger foods. Everything there was eco-friendly. The dinner was surprisingly delicious as well!
There were alot of side activities there which we didn't manage to explore everything. From handicrafts, performances, and candle lighting. Enough to keep you occupied throughout the night!
Would definitely return to celebrate Loy Krathong & Yee Peng festival again!
