This is the unsolved Canadian case of Madison Scott, who went missing in 2011 while camping and her body was just found last May in 2023. No arrests have been made.

In May of 2011, 20-year-old Madison Scott disappeared while camping at Hogsback Plake 25 kilometers southeast of Vanderhoof, British Columbia. There was a party there that evening by the lake and Madison came with a couple of friends, although in different vehicles. Her friend Jordi Bolduc got mildly injured in a ruckus and she and her boyfriend left, leaving Madison on her own. In the morning. Madison's truck was there as was her tent, but she was gone.
The case remained open as a missing person case for over a decade. Then, in May of 2023, her body was found on a rural property several kilometers from Hogsback Lake.
What happened to Madison Scott? And who was responsible for her demise? Was she one of the many victims abducted and murdered along Highway 16 known as the Highway of Tears?
