Miles Sampa Chilanga Mulilo/Traditional marriage ceremony
Chilanga Mulilo traditional Ceremony is a culture practice that is done by the Bemba speaking people. Chilanga mulilo means showing a man various food stuffs that he expects his wife to prepare for him and the family. Chilanga Mulilo comes just after the man pays bride price for the bride and before the wedding. Family members to the bride brings the food to show the grooms family and afterwards the brides family will leave the food prepared for the mans family to enjoy. various dances and songs are performed during the ceremony.
