Radio Shack 2000669 AM FM Shortwave Radio Daytime MW
The portable Radio Shack 2000669 AM FM Shortwave receiver is put through it's paces during this day time band scan. The FM portion of this radio is phenomenal, does the MW band follow suit?

Overall, the radio responds well to a passive loop. Though the MW band is plagued with "birdie" tones, it is still a solid pickup if you can find one. The FM is the best, and the continuous shortwave coverage is very usable when paired with an inexpensive wire extension.
