THERE ARE OFFICIALLY ONLY SIX MONTHS TO GO FOR YOUR PLACEMENT SEASON TO COMMENCE. Now we’re sure all of you are confident that you will get a super dream or a dream company, and we hope that happens as well. But let's look at some statistics, shall we? Out of the 7k+ people who applied for placements this year, less than 1500 of them got super dream/ dream placements whereas so far only around 2500 people landed jobs in the service sector. You probably do not want to be part of the other 40% this time next year. So, in light of that, we are planning to have a service company (TCS, CTS, Infosys) special live session where we will share advanced hacks and tips to ensure that you will you have at least one offer in your hand by the time you get your degree. The topics covered in this session include:
• Résumé Building - What a recruiter looks for in a potential candidate and how to diversify your profile and skills to make it look more attractive.
• Aptitude and Quants - The important topics which top companies frequently ask along with how to go about solving them and where to prepare from.
• Off campus placements - Building connections on LinkedIn/establishing your profile, searching for an internship based on your skillet in the right places, Hack-a-thon participation etc.
• Mass recruitment company interview process and procedures - Our experiences with companies such as CTS, TCS and Infosys and how we prepared for the strenuous process. (Experience from a Non-CSE student)
Finally, we will have a Q/A session where we will answer the questions you guys ask in the chat box.

We’ve all had frustrations with programming principally because we are overwhelmed by a seemingly endless list of topics and a lack of timely guidance. We present to you a methodology to alleviate some of those common pitfalls.

We will be accomplishing this with the help of a carefully curated curriculum with the complete explanation of the frequently asked topics in interviews along with their implementations in Java, Python and C++. We will have FAQ videos where we answer questions asked by you as well as weekly videos where we talk about our journeys to placements and how we eventually landed the super dream companies we only dreamt of.
