(NEW THREAD !!! v5 (final version ?) is currently WIP and discussed here : http://zandronum.com/forum/showthread...)

About the level : An excellent level. The canyon concept is cool, the design is really interesting, and the music sets a perfect atmosphere. The gameplay is somewhat unique - some might say boring - due to the layout and the monsters. You can fight on top of the canyon or inside it, mostly tricky lost souls (a true swarm), traveling cacodemons and few barons. It also has a nice telefragging challenge with several cyberdemons, and a tricky final fight. The most problematic thing here (and the main reason why it took me so long to complete the level) is all these flying monsters wandering around the map. Ammo is dispatched everywhere by few quantities and some monsters are only here for immersion, not to bother you at all. (especially all these imps on the cliffs). However, I love this level, as, if you are not in a hurry, it can be pretty exciting to play in, and really funny.

About the run : Pretty challenging one. Especially due to the lack of ammo which comes pretty fast. (also because it is dispatched) I figured out the best way to kill all these lost souls and cacos was to bring them at a place they cannot escape. (so lost souls won't leave far from me whenever they miss their target) As they also need time to reach me (the pain elemental spot is even behind the final fight building !), I found that the telefrag room was a nice place to wait for them, as it also allows me to progress in the level normally. I was afraid because I was not sure if I got enough cells to carry everything before I teleport for the final fight, but I made it anyway. The rest was pretty easy ; except the last cyber in the blue skull key room, which is pretty hard to reach, unless he doesn't open the door before you...
Final fight is easy to mess up. Because I didn't want to retry the map (did it often enough) I didn't take many risks, that's why I hid in side rooms - it works fine with it anyway.
Well, at least it has always been fun to play.
UV-Pacifist and UV-Speed will follow.

As usual, few monsters are missing due to a bug with a teleport (the one between the start and the telefrag room - it has two sectors separated by a line with the "Block Monsters" flag ; but it often bugs few monsters, and always a caco at least because the line crosses its body... Will have to be fixed)
And you may noticed I only got 2/3 secrets. That's because the first secret is not available in Singleplayer. It is a secret room with a bfg and cell packs, just between the start trap (before I teleport), but it lowers after you use the teleport, so it's not available at all, unless you let another player use it before you...)
