GPV CELEBRATES “DAY ONE” IN KOCHCHIKADE, SRI LANKA
In Sri Lanka, GPV Electronics LK followed local traditions to celebrate the beginning of something new. The factory was decorated with flowers, everyone took part in milk boiling, all levels were lightened by an oil lamp, and team members wrote and performed a song. Furthermore, the site made a donation to a local orphanage supporting education for kids in need.
On 10 January 2023, more than 7,500 dedicated people on three continents, at 19 production sites and 11 offices in 13 countries celebrate "DAY ONE" for the new GPV. Across the globe, at 09:00 local time, all locations celebrate to create a sunset event and share local celebration traditions.
