Hard Disk noise ASMR - Windows 98SE Disk Defragmenter
I made this because as a child I spent hours staring at disk defragmenter day dreaming, and I find the sound soothing.
System specification:
1997 Compaq 1620 P166 laptop 20GB HDD, 80 MB RAM, 2mb Gfx, ESS-audiodrive, 6X CD-RROM.
Approximately half an hour of an ancient Compaq laptop running Disk defrag on a 20GB mechanical drive.
Recorded with a combination of VGA capture & external microphone for extra HDD sound crunchiness.
