MyHeritage DNA Test Gave Me a Big Surprise!
I finally did a MyHeritage DNA test after a lifetime of thinking I was basically 100% English… and the results completely blindsided me.
Both my parents are English, my whole known family is from England, and I was convinced my DNA would just say “British” and that’s it.
In this video I talk through my results, my reaction, how it lines up with people constantly asking if I’m Spanish, Italian or Indian, and what it feels like to suddenly find out you’re a quarter Greek and part Iberian and African when you had zero idea.
I also share why I think everyone should do a DNA test at least once, and how it’s changed the way I see my background and family story.
