THE LAST SOCK || Puppet Making Backstage
Let's take a closer look at these #stopmotion Puppets that we are working on for the Portuguese animated short film “The Last Sock” by Carolina Batista.
Starting from the character design provided to us by the director, we tried to bring these characters to life in relation to their aesthetics and personality within the story, paying extreme attention to detail and using quality materials to achieve the best possible aesthetic.
-Inside there are fully articulated ball and socket armature covered by foam.
-The head structure houses a system of magnets to quickly replace facial expressions.
-We used a natural felt texture for the skin and the hair are made with alpaca wool.
-The clothes are handmade and tailor-made for the best fit possible!
“The Last Sock” shortfilm is currently still in production and will be released in 2025.
