in this video I show the correct way to join to a parallel male thread. all too often I see installers fitting female irons onto parallel male threads intended for use with the flat-faced Union. the biggest problem is that hardly any merchants stopped these flat-faced unions blaming the installer for not having asked for them. in my experience most installers don't even know these exist. so we need to start asking asking and asking until flat-faced unions become a standard item at the local merchant. until that time you can buy them at B the smart merchant or from Antares.
