Education versus "Educators" (Tenth Anniversary)
Education's big enemy is the elite professors who claim to care about improving education.
Video was created in 2009. The software has been updated several times resulting in some graphic oddities. But the message is clear. The so-called experts who seized control of public education (starting more than a century ago) made our public schools inferior by adopting dozens of dysfunctional theories and methods. Why? Because these people were first and foremost Socialists. They believed in leveling, uniformity, non-competition. Traditional academic concerns were not embraced; indeed they were scorned. So a huge amount of brainpower has gone into devising clever little handicaps, sophistries, riddles, and other cruel gimmicks that keep children from learning. Thank you, John Dewey.

Must add clarification. Our smartest students can compete against the smartest students from other countries. But we have millions of students who benefit from grade inflation. In one sense they are A-students but in reality they are more accurately called B and C students.
