Beware: Game breaking bug in Chapter 5 of Dead Space Remake *Read description*
In Chapter 5 a small cutscene plays out and afterwards you are attacked by a Hunter and have to escape the room.
In my game, the Hunter never spawned even though the animation for him escaping and the audio played.
I was able to leave the room when an audio cue plays and the doors are unlocked.
HOWEVER I died after leaving the room and when my game loaded the auto save I was now stuck in the room where we are supposed to fight the Hunter and the audio cue never played, leaving both doors locked and essentially trapping me there forever.
Luckily I loaded an earlier save, and the fight with the Hunter was still glitched but I was at least able to progress the game.
