One mantra that’s been a game-changer for me is: “I am not afraid to be seen trying.”
When I first heard this, I was in a place where I struggled with self-doubt and fear of failure. This mantra shifted my mindset in ways I never expected.
I believe young people are more crippled than ever by the fear of judgement (thanks social media).
For some reason, to be seen trying is cringe, or "they are trying to hard"
We all want to be effortless at what we do, but guess what?
You can't become effortless until you start trying.
Like the kids who sit out of P.E and giggle at the ones who are trying (may or may not be projecting here)
This is the same with adults.
I love this mantra.
Don't be afraid to be seen trying.
If you’re hesitant about taking the leap, remember: It’s the act of trying that leads to progress.
