This is the conversation between the pilot and the airport in which he reports an engine malfunction, forcing them to make an emergency return.
The aircraft, registration LV-GKO, belonging to the state-owned airline, experienced problems with its left engine. It is presumed that a bird entered the turbine, causing the incident.
The flight had departed for New York.
"We've had a problem with one of the engines and we're returning," the pilot of the Aerolíneas Argentinas Airbus 330 announced to the Ezeiza control tower regarding the emergency landing he had to make at midnight on Friday.
