In this video, I explored a simple but powerful non-dual insight using the analogy of waves and water.
A wave looks like a separate thing — rising, falling, changing shape — but its essence is always water.
In the same way, our experiences, sensations, emotions, and even the “world” we perceive arise within and depend upon Awareness. They appear vividly, but they don’t define the Self that knows them.
Through a relatable example — the shock of a hammer dropping on your toe — I show how sensations are real as experiences, yet not ultimately who we are.
The wave is real as an appearance.
But only the water is the substance.
