FACEBOOK LIVE: It took me 6 months to get my first tech job. I started learning in June, applying in September, and got my first job in January. There were moments where I was discouraged but I stayed positive. I would write in my journal to stay positive and to encourage myself. No mater how hard the day was I would end the journal entry with either "I am amazing!" or "I know everything will work out great!"
It can be hard to stay positive when it's hard to start a new career. You might need to create a vision board, write in a journal, or have post-it notes around your home to remind you that it will get better if you keep working at it.
I do like to celebrate milestone anniversaries when I can and this month is a big one for sure! I got my first and second tech job in January and I crush it hard every time at the start of the year. Just remember that you got it in you too. Stay positive and stay safe! You got this!
