How to Replace Rear Hatch Air Struts on 2013 Lexus RX350 - Fix Falling Door and Erratic Motion
The actuated rear hatch on my 2013 Lexus RX350 required repair. It fell onto my head numerous times, and the motor struggled to open and close the door smoothly. I purchased two new air struts and easily installed them myself with only 10 minutes of effort. See Amazon link below for the parts I purchased. The DIY fix was straightforward and required only grease and a flathead screwdriver. The same procedure might apply to many other vehicles.
