Scriabin- Prelude op.16,4 E flat minor
Scriabin composed 90 preludes in total. They all are very different, starting from romantic op.11 to op.74 with “death steps” prelude he composed shortly before his death.
Prelude 4 in E flat minor from op.16 is clearly nocturnal. To me, it is associated with sorrows and hope in darkest hours.
