In this video Eileen and I take you to a couple of very different places in northern Michigan. One of which is untouched and looks exactly like some of the places that Tim Allen describes in the Pure Michigan commercials. The other is the left over from clear cutting along some of our amazing hiking trails. These two areas are literally 10-20 miles apart. One is pristine and amazing. The other shows off our materialistic greed with the rampant destruction of some of our forests and the total disregard for nature. We live in a world of disposable. Paper, lumber, cheap furniture, pencils, and junk mail. "It doesn't matter" right? because wood is a product? Its biodegradable? Lumber is a crop? You be the judge. Enjoy the contrast and the video.
