Azure SQL Database Dynamic Data Masking - Hiding sensitive data in the result set of a query
In this Microsoft Azure Step-by-Step Tutorial we're going to discover how to prevent unauthorised access to sensitive data on your Azure SQL Database or your SQL Server.
To be able to do that, we're using a SQL Server and SQL Database feature called Dynamic Data Masking.
It’s a policy-based security feature that hides the sensitive data in the result set of a query over designated database fields, while the data in the database is not changed.
