《TRIM Knowledge》
By default, TRIM is enabled on SSDs.
However, it may be disabled by a third-party program.
《How to Check if Your SSD's TRIM Feature Is Enabled》
1. Enter "CMD" in "Search Windows."
2. Open "Command Prompt."
3. Select "Run as Administrator."
④ Enter the following command:
fsutil behavior query DisableDeleteNotify
If the returned result is
DisableDeleteNotify = 0, the SSD's TRIM function is enabled.
If DisableDeleteNotify = 1, the SSD's TRIM function is disabled.
《How to Enable or Disable SSD TRIM》
1. Enter "CMD" in the Windows Search bar.
2. Open "Command Prompt."
3. Select "Run as administrator."
4. Enter the following command:
fsutil behavior set DisableDeleteNotify 0
To disable SSD TRIM, use the same command.
However, you must replace the "0" with a "1."
《Note》
Enabling SSD TRIM can improve SSD performance, but once data is lost, it is gone forever and cannot be recovered.
Disabling TRIM will reduce SSD performance, but there is still a chance of recovering data.
