Yeti Gathering: Montezuma County
The first official Yeti Gathering was a small affair, held in Snowmass, CO at the end of a race weekend. Burgers were flipped with a pedal wrench because nobody thought to bring a spatula – and just like any good bike party, impromptu racing ensued. Everyone had a blast, so we decided to do it again the following year.
Two decades later, we’re still getting together every summer for a weekend of riding and festivities in celebration of the simple love of riding bikes in the mountains with friends.
We even bought a spatula.
