This is the official gameplay trailer for Sorrowsong, Anarchy Games' bullet-hell shooter. Sorrowsong features:
A full fledged OpenGL engine, supporting hundreds of projectiles, motion blur, and alpha-blended particle effects
Intense, challenging arcade-style gameplay, with 2 difficulty levels (Normal and Extreme)
2 Unique character classes (Fire and Water), each with a distinct gameplay style
Intense, scripted boss battles
A survival mode, in which the game pits you against all of its enemies and your goal is to survive for as long as possible.
Sorrowsong is the brainchild of Anarchy Games, headed by lead programmer Nicholas Fetcko. It has been in development for over 10 months and will see completion over the summer.
