Outdoor Challenge
This video is meant to inspire youth, volunteers, and Mission Graduates supporters. In Outdoor Challenge (OC) youth build outdoor leadership and living skills that prepare them for college and life through experiential learning opportunities. Healthy risk-taking is encouraged, boundaries are tested, and social negotiation and team decision-making skills are practiced. OC participants learn to independently plan, execute, and lead local day trips (hiking, mountain biking) as well as complicated outdoor adventure trips (multi-day backcountry trips).
