저도 싱가포르에서 직접 써보면서,
"환율 안해서 편하다. 좋다!" 하면서도 환율 가격을 쳐다보게 되었는데요. 확실히 공항환율보다 싸게 적용되어 있습니다!
"왜 할인을 해주지?" 하면서 할인 받고 다녔는데요.(ㅋ) 유명 프랜차이즈와 이미 제휴를 맺어서 카카오페이(저희 카페라고 하죠?힛) 사용할 때마다 (제 경험)천원~8천원을 할인해주는거예요... 🥹 넘조음ㅜ_ㅜ
그리고, 많은 가게가 알리페이를 사용할 수 있는데도 로고를 안붙여놓은데가 많았어요. 가서 "알리페이 가능한가요?" 라고 물어보고, 카페를 썼는데...! 됩니다... 왠만하면 거의 다 됩니다. 저처럼 혹시 몰라서 현금 뽑아가셨다가 다 못쓰고 공항 쇼핑하실분들, 축하합니다. 외국돈을 써야해서 쇼핑을 하시게 될겁니다. 헣허.

I personally tried it in Singapore and found it convenient without dealing with exchange rates. It's definitely cheaper than airport rates!
Wondering, "Why are they giving discounts?" I walked around getting discounts everywhere (lol). Many famous franchises have partnered, and using Kakao Pay typically gets you discounts ranging from 1,000~8,000 won per transaction based on my experience... 🥹 Super awesomeㅜ_ㅜ
Also, many places accept Alipay, even if they don't display the logo. Just ask, "Can I use Alipay here?" and when they said yes, I used Kakao Pay and it worked... almost everywhere. For those who withdrew cash just in case and couldn't use it all, congratulations. You'll likely end up shopping at the airport with foreign currency. Oops.
