The audio level is Low so TURN IT UP!!!
This interview took place on Saturday, October 2nd 1999 in the game room of the "Tap Room" in the Historic Fitger's Brewery Complex in downtown Duluth. It should be noted that Public Access TV personalities Jonny D & Kenny K were asked by the late John Bonneville, owner of the Tap Room to conduct an interview of the band. It turned out to be just one band member, vocalist Kevin Dubrow, it should be noted, we had to change the time of the scheduled interview and with Kenny sick with a cold the rescheduled time almost caused him to not show up. Kevin was outstanding, we joked with him, he was friendly and seemed very relaxed and willing to talk - which he did very well revealing some long lost secrets like Duluth being the very first city Quiet Riot played as they began a tour with The Scorpions and the first Metal Health Concert. Kevin Dubrow may not be a household name amongst rock singers but the songs he sang and his strong voice are very recognizable. In this interview you'll hear how much he loved what he did and how much his friends and his family meant to him. We hurt knowing he's passed away, but we are so damn glad that he took some time to hang with a couple of "average guys" and talk about the marvelous life he was living.
